Lisa Thomson

Lisa Thomson is the COO at Pathway Health Services. She has over 30 years of experience in post-acute care, long-term care and other healthcare settings, with expertise in operations, leadership, strategic positioning, regulatory, quality improvement, and organization turnaround. Lisa is a sought-after national thought leader in the healthcare arena and presents nationally to a wide variety of healthcare and other business provider types. She serves as a mentor for healthcare leaders across the nation.

Why have you dedicated your career to healthcare?

Growing up, I was surrounded by family members who worked in the healthcare field – physicians, cardiologists, radiologists, pharmacists, nurses, epidemiologists, and healthcare finance professionals. I had the opportunity to go to work with many family members and experience acute care, long-term care and community-based care. My heart has always been in long-term care – working with seniors and those who require those services. I am passionate about our profession and the post-acute care industry. 

Collaboration, caring, family, compassion, professionalism, knowledge and empathy are what I witness every day in our industry. I see a great purpose and experience human connection in what we do every day, and the positive impact it has on the people we serve and those we work with!
